Sharon uses PutPlace to keep her precious memories safe

This is Sharon. She's a mom, a photographer and a blogger. She really gets technology and uses it to help her kids be creative too. A few years ago she got her kids a digital video camera. They call it the kid-cam. Ever since, they've been making video art as a family. The kids make movies about their unique experiences—bugs in the garden, Smartie cookies, the blanket fort. Sharon says it's one way they'll remember their childhoods.
They don't store kid-cam video on their PC (which could crash) or digital tapes (that might get lost). Sharon downloads the kid-cam videos from the camera, edits the "keepers" and drops them in the PutPlace folder on her PC where they are automatically backed-up, itemized and categorized online.
